Flat & Tilt Mounts on Drywall

The classic install: locate studs, mount the bracket, hang the TV, plug it in. Surface cord cover or in-wall cable hide if you prefer the clean look. Universal mounts in stock — bring yours or we'll supply.

  • Stud-mounted with toggles only when no stud is in range
  • Surface or in-wall cable management
  • Universal mount supplied if you don't have one
  • All settings sources reconnected and tested

Full-Motion & Articulating Arms

Bedrooms, kitchens, and corner living rooms benefit from a swing-arm mount so you can angle the screen from the couch, bed, or stove. We use heavy-duty arms rated 25%+ over your TV's weight so the arm doesn't sag over time.

  • Rated for 25%+ over your TV weight
  • Always anchored into a stud, never drywall-only
  • Cable loop sized to allow full extension without strain
  • Tested through full range of motion before we leave

Brick, Stone & Outdoor Lanai TVs

Outdoor and masonry mounts need different hardware: Tapcon or sleeve anchors rated for the material, stainless steel for outdoor use, and silicone-sealed penetrations. We do a lot of lanai TVs for Venice and Nokomis pool decks.

  • Tapcon, sleeve, or wedge anchors per substrate
  • Stainless hardware on outdoor mounts
  • Silicone-sealed penetrations to keep water out
  • Weatherproof cord cover routed to the nearest outlet

Why drywall toggle bolts aren't enough

A 65" TV plus a full-motion arm can put 100+ pounds of cantilevered load on a wall. Toggle bolts alone will pull out of drywall over time. We always find studs first, and if the spacing doesn't line up with the mount we add a backer board across two studs so the mount has solid wood behind it everywhere.

On masonry — common in Venice block-construction homes — drywall anchors won't work at all because there's no stud, just block and 1/2" drywall over it. We Tapcon directly into the block through the drywall for a rock-solid install.

And the little things matter: level, cable strain relief, surge protector behind the TV, and a quick test of every input before we pack up.

Frequently asked

Questions Venice homeowners ask us

Straight answers — the same ones we give over the phone before a job goes on the calendar.

How much does TV mounting cost in Venice, FL?
A standard wall mount on drywall with surface cord cover is $125–$175. In-wall cable concealment adds $75–$125. Brick, stone, or stucco mounts run $200–$300 because of the masonry hardware. We always quote flat before we start.
Do you supply the mount or do I?
Either works. Bring your own (Amazon, Costco, or Best Buy) or we'll pick one up — full-motion, tilt, or flush — and pass through cost with no markup beyond the supply trip.
Can you hide the cables inside the wall?
Yes — on drywall with stud bays we install a low-voltage bracket behind the TV and another behind your media console so the HDMI and power cord come out clean with no visible cable. Cannot do this on exterior walls or solid masonry walls.
Will you mount above a fireplace?
We will, with two cautions: (1) make sure the manufacturer allows it for the heat output of your fireplace, and (2) viewing angle from a couch is often too high — we'll measure with you before drilling.
Can you mount on stucco, brick, or stone?
Yes. We use Tapcon or sleeve anchors rated for the material and verify load capacity for your TV's weight. Outdoor stucco mounts get stainless hardware and silicone-sealed penetrations.
Will the TV be level?
Always. We check level on the mount and again on the TV after it's hung. If your wall isn't plumb we shim the mount before tightening.
